Clip : Ascendant Vierge - Ce monde ou tu n'existes pas

"Ce monde où tu n'existes pas" features the duo Ascendant Vierge in a trip-hop mood that sets them apart from the rest of their work. Far from festive and gabber, this more languorous track explores a post-apocalyptic world where one is left without the other. Mathilde Fernandez finds herself alone in this deserted, sunny landscape. Isolated, she is torn by questions from the past, with no way out.

As for Paul Seul's, the lonely traveler, he appears in bits and pieces. He roams the rocks in search of a companion. The clip ends with a probable reference to Michelangelo's mythical 'The Creation of Adam'. The celestial is found on earth, in its image: powerful and solid. Here, the two characters, man and woman, are equal in strength and resilience.
