At the end of the summer, Yung Lean and Bladee released two co-produced tracks: "Bullets" and "Victorious". A fine tribute to their friendship, which goes back over ten years, with "Plastic Boy", to the very beginnings of their respective Sad Boys and Drain Gang collectives. 2013, the year when everything exploded for Swedish rapper Yung Lean, with "Ginseng Strip 2002", a vapourwave track that enabled the rapper to be one of the first to export to the USA. The media dubbed him the founder of "emo rap".
The same year, Bladee released his first mixtape "Shakespeare" on soundcloud, which quickly went viral. For both, cloud rap allows them to explore themes of repentance, addiction and, above all, the happiness that comes afterwards.
Close to their emotions and true to their ties, they released "Victorious". In it, they talk about their history, their growing popularity and their battle. Over the years, there have been battles they have fought alone, but their collaborations and friendship have enabled them to survive and aim higher, without losing themselves: "with you i fight fairies", they know how to be stronger than the spells.
